Skip bins MUST NEVER be loaded higher than the top edge of the bin. Rubbish Direct may be unable to collect the bin if it is loaded above this level.
Bin & Vehicle Access Dimensions
Before delivery, please ensure there is a safe, stable placement area large enough for the skip bin, and that delivery route also provides sufficient width and overhead clearance for vehicle access.
To safely deliver a Rubbish Direct 9m³ skip bin, the delivery vehicle needs at least 3 metres of width and 4 metres of height clearance. Please ensure driveways, gates, overhanging trees, carports, and other access points provide enough room before booking delivery.
When the skip bin is being delivered or collected, keep children, pets, and other animals well away from the work area until the vehicle leaves the site. The delivery location should also be safe, stable, and suitable for a heavy vehicle, with the driveway or surface in good condition and strong enough to support the weight of the truck and loaded bin.
