Skip bins MUST NEVER be loaded higher than the top edge of the bin. Container Waste may be unable to collect the bin if it is loaded above this level.
Weight Allowance: 400kgs
The Included Weight Allowance of 400kgs is part of the upfront cost of the service, BUT exceeding this allowance will incur additional costs.
Bin & Vehicle Access Dimensions
To safely deliver a Container Waste 3m³ skip bin, the delivery vehicle requires a minimum access clearance of 3 metres in width and 4 metres in height. Please check driveways, gates, overhanging branches, carports, and other access points before delivery to ensure there is enough room for the truck to access the site safely.
When the skip bin is being delivered or collected, please keep children, pets, and other animals safely away from the work area until the truck has finished and left the site. The delivery location should be clear, stable, and suitable for a service vehicle, with the driveway or surface in good condition and strong enough to support the weight of the truck and bin.

Container Waste provides skip bin hire across Christchurch and surrounding parts of greater Christchurch, with standard delivery pricing generally covering locations within approximately 30 kilometres of Cathedral Square. This service area extends beyond Christchurch City into nearby communities in parts of Selwyn and Waimakariri, making their bins available to customers across much of the wider urban area. For locations outside the standard delivery zone, Container Waste may still be able to provide service, although additional transport charges can apply and availability may need to be confirmed directly. This makes Container Waste a practical option for residential, renovation, landscaping and construction projects throughout Christchurch and many nearby Canterbury communities.
